Eric Miller had put together a website on his own, and the experience of doing it taught him that building a site that actually represented his business was harder than it looked. What We Built
Before I touched any design work, I walked Eric through a customer journey mapping exercise, figuring out exactly who was coming to his site, what they needed to know, and what would make them feel confident enough to reach out. That process shaped the entire page structure and made sure every section was there for a reason. From there it was about getting the details right: tightening the branding, finding imagery that felt warm and approachable rather than cold and corporate, and writing copy that sounded like Eric's business actually talks. Since launching the new site, Eric has told me he gets compliments on it regularly, and more importantly, for the first time he actually feels proud to send someone to it.
